The Services are primarily intended for users in Hong Kong. You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract and comply with applicable laws of the Hong Kong SAR.

For adoption matching, applications, and account registration, users should be at least 18 years old, or use relevant features only with guardian consent and supervision.

Information you provide must be true, accurate, complete, and kept up to date.

You may register with email and password. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must safeguard your credentials.

Each individual should maintain only one personal account (organisation/volunteer accounts are handled through our approval process). Report unauthorised access promptly to pawsitivecircle.hk@gmail.com.

Volunteer, organisation, or administrator access requires our approval. We may suspend or revoke such access for security, compliance, or policy violations.

You retain ownership of content you upload or publish (including photos, diary entries, community posts, and marketplace listings).

To operate, display, promote, and improve the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free worldwide licence to use, store, reproduce, and display such content on the platform.

You must ensure content does not infringe third-party rights (including privacy, publicity, and intellectual property). Adoptable pet listings must accurately reflect the animal’s condition.

We may (but are not obliged to) remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

You must not upload or engage in: animal cruelty content; commercial sale of animals via the platform (adoption/fostering must comply with our policies); false or misleading adoption or organisation information; spam, harassment, or impersonation; unauthorised scraping or interference with systems; doxxing; or any illegal activity.

Violations may result in warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, permanent termination, and reporting to authorities where appropriate.

The platform facilitates adoption information and applications. We do not own adoptable animals and do not guarantee availability, temperament, health, or matching outcomes.

Listings are primarily provided by volunteers or NGOs. Applicants must verify details and complete adoption procedures with the relevant organisation.

AI matching questionnaire results are suggestions only and do not constitute an adoption commitment. Commercial sale of animals through the platform is prohibited.

The pet diary is for logging daily life and wellness observations. Data is self-reported and does not constitute veterinary medical records or professional diagnosis.

Do not treat diary content as medical advice; consult a licensed veterinarian for health concerns.

Marketplace products are supplied by approved vendors or partners. Descriptions, pricing, and stock are the vendor’s responsibility; we do not verify every listing individually.

Where checkout is available, transactions are primarily between buyer and vendor. Refunds, delivery, and after-sales follow vendor policies and applicable law. We may charge commissions where applicable.

Vendors require separate approval. We may remove non-compliant listings or terminate vendor access.

Volunteer and organisation accounts require application and approval. You must provide accurate, verifiable contact and organisation information.

Volunteer arrangements do not create an employment relationship. You must maintain accurate pet and application data per your organisation’s policies and these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate volunteer/organisation access for false information, animal-welfare risks, or other violations.

Community features (such as discussions and sharing) may roll out in phases. You must follow community guidelines and these Terms.

Offline meetups or contact are arranged at your own risk. We do not conduct background checks. Use safe public locations and protect personal privacy.

AI features such as matching suggestions and copy generation may use third-party services (e.g. OpenRouter); input may be processed outside Hong Kong.

AI output is for reference only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and is not veterinary, legal, or other professional advice. Verify before acting.

By using AI features you acknowledge and accept related data-processing risks.

Donations, sponsorship, or links to external services may be processed by third-party payment or hosting providers. We are not responsible for third-party sites, apps, or offline transactions.

Agreements and disputes with third parties should be addressed directly with them, unless these Terms expressly state otherwise.

“毛常,” “Pawsitive Circle,” logos, site design, text, and software (excluding user content) are owned by us or licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit them without written consent.

The Services may rely on Alibaba Cloud OSS, hosting, Stripe (where applicable), OpenRouter (AI), reCAPTCHA, and other third parties, each subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not liable for third-party outages, errors, or data handling, but aim to use reliable providers within reason.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not provide veterinary, behavioural, legal, or financial advice. Adoption and product information is supplied by users or partners; we do not guarantee accuracy or completeness.

You bear the risks of offline interactions and transactions with other users or organisations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Services.

Our aggregate liability is capped at the greater of fees you paid to us for the Services in the past 12 months and HKD 800 (if you paid no fees, HKD 800 applies).

Nothing in this section affects non-excludable consumer rights under Hong Kong law.

You agree to indemnify and hold us, our directors, personnel, volunteers, and partners harmless from claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or infringement of third-party rights.

You may stop using the Services at any time and request account deletion by emailing pawsitivecircle.hk@gmail.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account or certain features for violations, security, legal requirements, or cessation of operations, with reasonable notice where practicable.

After termination, data we must retain under law or our Privacy Policy may be kept for a reasonable period.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR.

Parties should first attempt amicable resolution via pawsitivecircle.hk@gmail.com within 30 days. Failing that, either party may bring proceedings in the courts of Hong Kong (we also retain non-exclusive jurisdiction).

If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.

You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent; we may assign ours in connection with reorganisation, merger, or service transfer.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on the site and, where reasonable, notified at least 14 days in advance (e.g. by email or in-app notice).

Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Services and delete your account.
